About the Brewery... 

This small brewery is set in 75 acres of rolling vineyards in the Gloucestershire countryside as part of the Three Choirs wine estate and is named after Dick Whittington who, legend holds, was born in the hamlet of Pauntley, near to the site of the vineyard.  Whittingtons uses traditional methods to produce excellent quality beers. 

About the Beer...

Produced using locally sourced First Gold hops and Maris Otter Barley, this is Whittington's flagship ale which has developed a well justified strong local following.  A bright, clean, medium bodied beer that is well rounded with a great hop flavour and is very refreshing.  A great accompaniment to Lasagne or a traditional Ploughman's lunch.
