A beer that started life in filtered form as Young's Export, this classy orange-golden ale was given new life in 1998 when this bottle-conditioned version made its bow. The beer survived the closure of Young's Wandsworth brewery and is now produced at Wells and Young's in Bedford, and the awards keep coming. This is a full-bodied, smooth-textured beer packed with zesty bitter orange and other citrus notes from the generous hopping, with moreish, delicate malt flavours underneath, and a long, dry, bitter and notably hoppy finish.
PLEASE NOTE: As this beer ferments in the bottle sediment will exist. As a guide store upright and pour extremely carefully.
