Bath Ales are an independent micro-brewery established in 1995.  Their founders all come from a brewing background and have combined a complementary range of skills with a shared passion for real ale.  Never a company to stand still, Bath Ales have grown steadily and their brewery is now complemented by a new bottling plant and brewery shop.  Over a relatively short time – and in an increasingly saturated market – they have developed a reputation for producing distinctive, high quality ales that are full of character and flavour.  Much of this is down to a careful selection of the finest floor-malted barley, the best English hops and the use of their own cultured yeast.

Dark Hare is brewed using a blend of dark roasted wheat and barley malt and the lovely old fashioned Fuggles hop.  An impressive and seriously smooth stout.  Deep, dark and exquisite.
