In 2004, Daniel Thwaites joined forces with the British Legion to produce a commemorative beer for the 60th anniversary of D-Day - they called it Liberation Ale. As part of its commitment to support the Legion, Thwaites makes a donation for every bottle sold and to date, the amount raised is over £65,000. Thwaites has continued it's investment and Liberation is now available in it's brand new embossed bottle. Brewed at 5.2%, it is amber in colour with toffee and subtle sweet flavours, a silky smooth taste with a lingering dry bitter finish. A beer to be remembered!
