In 1807 Daniel Thwaites was the archetypal "game keeper turned poacher" as he switched jobs from Excise Duty Officer, collecting revenue from the Brewery, to owning and brewing the beer he would later name after himself.  An inspired and momentous decision.  To celebrate and honour the 200 years of brewing expertise since that day, our Head Brewer has created Thwaites Double Century.

This refreshing amber coloured premium ale is well balanced with a malty character.  Double hopped using English golding and fuggles with the later addition of Bramling Cross to give a bitter orange finish.
