Originally brewed in 1999 to celebrate the 150th Anniversary of the founding of the brewery. Due to popular demand within Joseph Holt managed Houses 1849 continues to be bottled in addition to the other bottled ales.
1849 is a very fresh, hoppy ale brewed in a very traditional way with a pleasant subtle after taste.
