About the Brewery... 

Founded by journalist and lifelong real ale enthusiast Alex Brodie in 2002, Hawkshead nestles in the pictureque village of Staveley between Windermere and Kendal.  Since inception Alex's vision has been to create traditional ales, with a twist, and his passion for beer is clearly evident in Hawkshead's brews. 

About the Beer...

Malted Barley and a blend of English First Gold and American Cascade hops used to create a complex and uncompromising beer that is well balanced and delightfully drinkable.  This is an award winning ale, most recently scooping CAMRA's Champion beer of Cumbria in 2009.  Salmon in a creamy sauce is an ideal match!
