How Does the Beer Club Work ?
Every
quarter (April, July, September and December) we offer our members a
mixed case of 20 beers. We select the most interesting and diverse
beers to complement our seasonal theme. For example, future cases may
include a Champions case featuring beers from CAMRA’s Champion Beer of
Britain Competition and other award-winners. All British Beers are
bottled-conditioned, and one beer will be an authentic world explore
beer from further a field. Members will always receive a Preview Letter
three weeks prior to cases being dispatched. This letter will include
tasting notes to go with the selected case. The CAMRA Beer Club has
been set up to provide a service for beer enthusiasts. As a member you
will discover and enjoy a whole range of specialist beers which are not
available in most UK supermarkets or off-licences.
Is there a commitment?
No,
you are under no obligation to take every case on offer. You may skip
or cancel your deliveries at any time. The choice is all yours.
Any additional benefits of membership?
Yes, there are.
1. Membership is absolutely FREE. There are no joining fees.
2. You will receive tasting notes to go with all the beers written by beer experts.
3.
You can order more of the beers you enjoy most and, as a member, you
get first notification of all new beers and special offers from the
Club.
4. We’re just a phone call away – if there is
anything you don’t like about a selection, just let us know. We’ll do
our best to personalise the case for you.
What if I don't like my beer?
If
you don't like any beer, for whatever reason, we'll refund you - it's
as simple as that. Just call and let us know and we'll do the rest.
What if I don't want a selection?
No
problem. Just let us know if you don't require a particular selection
by email, phone, fax or post and we'll skip it for you. We'll send you
a preview three weeks before your case is due let you know what is
coming up.
How do we select our Beers?
Every
three months our panel of experts will put together a collection of
five different beers. All those chosen will be high-quality examples of
their type, will have distinctive character, and will come from brewers
who are committed to diversity and quality.
How much do the beers cost?
Our
best value offerings are always our mixed cases. Not only do they
provide customers with the greatest variety, but the price is currently
fixed at £39.95 for CAMRA members £44.95 for non-members. However we
appreciate that you might want to order 12 or 24 bottles of a
particular type of beer. No problem – we can do this for you. Here
